Every book gets a public page of its own — and a snippet you can paste into a site you already run. The reader stays with you; the book still turns properly.
It took longer than it should have, but it is finished — and the whole thing is below. You can turn it here without leaving the page.
Everything after it is still your page: your type, your colours, your footer. The book is a guest, not a host.
There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated. If you replace the book later, this page shows the new one — you paste the snippet once and then forget about it.
It works the same on a phone, and it opens full-screen if a reader wants the whole display. Nobody has to make an account, and nobody is sent anywhere else to read it.
If you would rather people came to the book’s own page instead, that exists too — this is simply the version that stays here, on the site they were already reading.
The general-purpose block. Drops into a post or a page and sizes itself to the column it lands in, up to 1200 × 650.
The snippet is an iframe. It works in a CMS, a static site, a landing-page builder — anywhere you can paste HTML. There is nothing to install and nothing to keep updated.
A book can be limited to the domains you name, so an embed code that leaks does not become someone else’s content. Leave it open if you would rather the book travel.
Switch it on for a book and its embedded copy carries a small star rating that links back to the book’s own page. Off unless you ask for it, and it appears only once the book is in the Gallery with a review to show.
The embed code is on every book’s page once it is published.
