Guide
Five steps from the pages you already have to a book readers can find, buy and keep. No design work, no code, and nothing published without you.
Walkthrough
A recorded run through the whole thing — upload to published book — will live here. Until it does, the steps below are the complete version.
Upload a PDF, or a set of images. Pages are converted and compressed for the web automatically, so a print-resolution file does not become a slow book. Drag them into the order you want and see exactly how it reads before anything becomes public.
Mark your covers, choose how the book looks and turns, and build a table of contents that matches the real structure of the book rather than a page count. The cover designer is available on Pro and above; every plan can upload a cover it already has.
More on the cover designerNothing is public until you say so. When you publish, the book gets a page of its own — a real address you can send to anyone, with the reading experience built in: page turns, a gallery view, bookmarks, and zoom.
Every book comes with a snippet you can paste into a site you already run — a CMS, a static site, a landing-page builder. There is no plugin and no build step, and you can limit a book to the domains you name. Or list it in the Gallery, where readers browse.
More on embeddingA book can be free or paid. Readers buy it on your book's own page, and you keep the great majority of what they pay — the exact figure depends on the payment provider, which is why it is spelled out properly rather than rounded off here.
How selling worksThe fastest way to understand any of this is to put a file in and watch what comes out. Nothing is published until you say so.
